maria & jonathan
We are Maria and Jonathan - a husband and wife team united by love and adventure. We are based in lovely Algarve of Portugal, but available worldwide.
Maria is from Moldova, while Jonathan comes from Belgium. Our journey began at a surf camp on the beautiful beaches of Sri Lanka, where we fell in love. Despite the distance, our bond grew stronger, leading us to choose stunning Portugal as our home to build our life together as photographers and already married couple.
With years of experience in portrait photography, we continued to the wedding space. Our desire to capture the beauty of life through our lenses blossomed when we moved to Portugal, and we’ve been captivated ever since.
We embrace every opportunity to travel and savor life’s moments. Jonathan is an adventurous surfer who also finds joy in playing the piano, while Maria balances her passion for photography with yoga and her culinary talents.
